Clifford Arnott 2020

Passed away peacefully on July 16, 2020 at 81 years of age. Beloved husband and best friend of Heather (nee Glen) for 58 years. Loving father of Lori Arnott-Atkinson (Kevin Hedges) and James Arnott (Nathalie Vachon-Arnott). Dear grandfather of Connor, Caleigh, Alexandre and Jonathan. Predeceased by his parents Jim “Jimmy” and Edythe Arnott.
Cliff commenced studies at the University of Manitoba at age 15 and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree; he then attended the University of Western Ontario, where he earned his MBA. He then went on to earn his Chartered Accountant certification with the firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells.
Cliff was an avid golfer and a charter member of Markland Wood Golf & Country Club. He was a proud volunteer in coaching hockey for the West Mall Minor Hockey Association in the Metro Toronto Hockey League.
Anyone who knew Cliff would remember him as a “Sports Fanatic” and die-hard follower of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Blue Jays.
Most importantly, he loved his family more than anything in the world.
In lieu of flowers, Cliff’s family prefers memorial tributes to the Ontario Heart & Stroke Foundation. Cremation has occurred, and a celebration of his life will take place at a future date. Arrangements entrusted to Families First, 585 Sandwich St. S, Amherstburg, Ont., 519-969-5841.
