HUMMEL, Cletus Philip
Cletus Hummel died Wednesday, April 15, 2020 at North Bay Regional Health Centre from complications following surgery. He was in his 84th year. Cletus was the beloved husband of Joan Charlotte (Reichstein) of North Bay (formerly of Trout Creek); the much-loved father of Mark (Karen) of North Bay, Randy (Deanne) of Trout Creek and Monty (Mandy) of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Taylor (Jordan), Madison, Brett, Arianna and Maddie. Cletus was the dear brother of Willard Hummel (Marie), Margaret VanMierlo (the late Bernard) and Cloyd Hummel, all of Trout Creek. He was predeceased by his siblings Rose Grasser (the late Bill), Clarence Hummel, Eleanor Oshell-Duncan (the late Joe Oshell and the late Harry Duncan), Greg Hummel (the late Grace), Gloria Stephens (the late Bernard), Jerome Hummel, Lawrence Hummel, Florence Hewitt (the late Bill) and Bernice Brunne (the late Harry). Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek at a later date, followed by interment of ashes at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Cletus was a familiar face around Trout Creek and Powassan and many will remember his big smile and laugh.
