ST-IGNACE, NB – Claude Landry 79, of St-Ignace
passed away peacefully at La Villa Maria, Saint-Louis-de-Kent on
Friday, March 27, 2020. Born at Haché Road, NB,
he was the son of the late André “Haze” Landry
and late Hermina (Poirier) Landry. Before retiring, Claude
was employed as a woodsman for many years.
Claude will be sadly missed by his daughter,
Stéphanie Landry of St-Louis; one grandson, Maxime; his
special friend, Rose-Yvonne Gallant of St-Ignace and her children,
Marc Gallant (Lynn) of Cocagne, Colette Gallant (Jean-René)
of Burlington, ON; her five grandchildren and his
Thébeau and Robichaud Families.
He is also survived by one sister, Edna Landry (late
Alphonse) of Windsor, ON; two brothers, Albert Landry (late Simonne)
of Vancouver, Alfred Landry (Gilberte) of Maltempec; sisters-in-law,
Jeanne Landry of St-Antoine, Leona Landry of Oshawa, Emilienne Landry
of Maltempec and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife,
Rosa (Thebeau) Landry; three sisters, Alphonsine,
Thérèse, Jeanne; four brothers, Ernest, Edgar,
Roger and Félix.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Dr.
Stephane Collette, Dr. Josette Vautour and the care
givers at Foyer Bois Joli and La Villa Maria for their kind
and compassionate care given to Claude.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July
18, 2020 at 10:00 am at the St. Ignace de Loyola Roman Catholic Church
in St. Ignace.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral
