The death of Claude Godin, 76, of Bathurst occurred unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at the Moncton City Hospital.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Herman and Irene (Christie) Godin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Hermeline (Guitard) Maurice.
Two daughters: Carol Godin and Helen Godin both of Bathurst.
Stepchildren: Suzie Maurice, Joel, and Serge all of Bathurst, and Alain (Jazmine) of Sault St. Marie.
Brothers: Gilles (Marie Claire) of Bathurst and Kenneth (Edwidge) of Paquetville; sisters: Andréa Godin of Burlington, ON and Connie Morais (Bobby) of Bathurst.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Funeral arrangements are in the care of Elhatton Funeral Home (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst.
Donations in memory of Claude may be made to the Diabetes Association, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor’s choice.
