86, of Yarmouth Heights, formerly of Fox Point, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Fox Point he was the son of the late Alva and Ellen Coolen. Clark was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces from 1951-1980 achieving Master Warrant Officer and was also a Firefighter with CFS Mill Cove 1980-1995. Clark enjoyed all sports, fishing, hunting, playing cards and travelling he was also an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays. Survived by his wife of 64 years Brenda (Briggs) whom he met and married in Nottingham, England and then returned to Canada in 1957; daughters, Carol (Bruce) Rogers, Yarmouth; Beverly (Steven) LeCompte, Warrington, PA, USA; grandchildren, Mark (Stephanie) and Megan (Scott Symonds) Rogers, Yarmouth; Kaitlyn LeCompte, Warrington, PA, USA; brother, Stanley (Diane), Ottawa, ONT.; sisters, Doris (Dwight) Corbin, Lake Echo; Susan (Todd) Hennigar, Chester Basin. Predeceased by brothers, Richard and Samuel.
Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, March 6th in the Ronald A. Walker Funeral Home, Hubbards. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Yarmouth Regional Hospital or charity of choice. O
