Obituary of Clarence Selby Pope
It is with great sadness that Clarence Selby Pope (Bishop’s Falls) passed away on January 30, 2020 at the age of 69. He leaves behind his forever “Barbie Doll” (Barbara); two loving sons, Steven (Susan) and Derrick (Chrissy); grandchildren, Eli, Ryan, Carissa, Nicholas, Brandon, Dakotah, Brady, Jade and one great-granddaughter, Isabella; brothers, Henry and Fred; sisters, Daphne and Ernestine. Clarence was predeceased by his brothers, Gerald and Hedley; sisters, Alvina and Marg. Clarence was born on June 27, 1950 in Botwood. He met his loving wife Barbara in September of 1970 and married her on March 4, 1971. They began their married life in Ontario, where their family began with their first born son. Longing to be back at home, Clarence brought his family back to Botwood, where they had their second son. For 20 years, Clarence enjoyed his time in the outdoors where moose hunting and cutting wood was in his blood. But the one thing that was very important was to take his Barbie visiting all of their friends which he had a lot of.
Thank you to all his friends for the support given to his family at this difficult time. He will be missed and loved by all.
