Clarence Elton Cornock died quietly on Sunday May 17, 2020 at the Glenboro Personal Care Home with grandchildren Becki & Brett keeping vigilance at his bedside.
He lived a full life growing up in the Greenway area. He was a mischievous child, a World War II Veteran, husband father, grand, great grandfather, farmer, environmentalist before his time, trucker, gardener, golfer, lover of horses, country music & dances. Most of all he loved his & Rose Desrochers’ families and their gatherings.
Elton was predeceased by three sons, Grant, Brian & Bruce and his first wife Alice.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Dianne Bodner (Len) of Winnipeg, MB, James Cornock of Calgary, AB, Neil Cornock (Gail) of Winnipeg, MB, his partner Rose Desrochers, her children Shirley Pickering, Midge Stace, Lorraine (Fred Parkum), Robbie (Rhonda) , Larry (Lori), Randy and extended family were an integral part of his life and will lovingly remember him.
Elton had a special place in his heart for all of his grandchildren & great grandchildren. They too, will fondly remember their 100 year old grandpa.
The family would like to thank all the staff at the Glenboro Hospital and Personal Care Home for their compassionate care for dad over the years.

Due to the Covid-19 circumstances a small family graveside service will be held on Friday May 22, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Baldur Cemetery. Friends may watch the service using the Zoom Meeting App. For login details, please contact the funeral home at 204-827-2480.
