Obituary of Chuck Neumann
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chuck Neumann. Chuck, a long time resident of Tumbler Ridge, BC, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at his home on Friday, May 8, 2020.
Chuck was born in Toronto, ON, the eldest son of Frank and Barbara Neumann. He was raised in Calgary, AB and North Vancouver, BC and moved to Kamloops BC in 1971, He married his soulmate, Gail, in 1977 and their son Josh was born in 1981 in Kamloops.
Chuck began his career in warehousing in the mining industry in 1981 and worked at various mines and for Finning in British Columbia. He always enjoyed working and the camaraderie of his co-workers.
Chuck enjoyed time with family and friends, golfing, curling, and fishing. Special time was visits with Josh, Bri and his granddaughters Billie & Joey. Since retirement (2017), he could be found in his shop working on wood projects while listening to his favorite tunes.
One of Chuck greatest delights was to bring a smile to your face by way of his big friendly greeting, a joke or gesture.
He would want no sad tears, only “ a kind word and a smile”.
Chuck is survived by loving his wife; Gail, and their son, Josh (Brianne), granddaughters; Billie & Joey, siblings; Judy and Rob.
He was predeceased by his parents; Frank and Barb, his beloved Aunt Julie and brother; Jim.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
