Christopher Tyler Jamieson Friday April 24th 2020

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Christopher “Tyler” Jamieson on Friday morning April 24, 2020 at the age of 39.
Tyler will be deeply missed by his loving parents Larry and Christina Jamieson, his brother Garrett Jamieson of Toronto ON, his sister Kjarna Jamieson (Terry Law) & niece Sadie Law of Virden MB and his two special dogs Baila and Smeagles.
He also leaves to mourn, his godparents Ken and Pat Joelson; aunts & uncles Eric Sveinson of Winnipeg, Araina (Perry) Dowd of Winnipeg, Moray (Arlie) Jamieson of Glenboro, Marlo (Dan) Fehr of Glenboro, as well as numerous cousins.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Goody and Pat Sveinson, Bill and Elvina Jamieson, and his uncle Garth Sveinson.
Tyler was born June 11th, 1980 at the St Boniface Hospital. He was born with many health issues resulting in numerous struggles throughout his life. Even so, Tyler lived a very active life, going on outings with his school/day programs and tagging along for his siblings extracurricular sports/activities. He also loved the water and very much enjoyed his time swimming and boating at the lake along with his scheduled T.L.C trips to the swimming pool. Tyler very much loved playing with his toys and noise makers; and the louder, the better!! He enjoyed his bath days, waiting until the water was cool before he was ready to get out. He was a master of relaxing, listening to music, and if there was a comfortable spot to stretch out, he would find it.
At the young age of 3, Tyler attended the Rehabilitation Centre for Children for over nine years. He then attended St. Amant School until he graduated in 2001. After graduation Tyler attended the “Trailblazers Life Choices (TLC)” day programme until his passing.
A special thank you to the staff at TLC who have cared for Tyler with such love and consideration, particularly Stephanie, Dave and CJ. You all made it so easy to send Tyler to his day program knowing that he would be so well looked after. Thanks to Stefan and Lisa at St. Amant. We would also like to thank the nurses at the Health Sciences – Adult Emergency for their kindness, compassion and support. They went above and beyond to care for Tyler in his final hours. We are so ever grateful.
Rosa also deserves a big thank you for the time and care she has given Tyler and for the support that she has provided for the family over the years.
“Our eyes are full of tears and our hearts are broken. Tyler, you are and forever will be sorely missed”
Due to the Public Health Requirements surrounding Covid-19, a family gathering will be held at a later date. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Tyler’s memory to Trailblazers Life Choices.
