Christopher George 2020

GEORGE, Christopher
It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing in Sudbury, Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the age of 42 years at the Maison McCulloch Hospice after a courageous battle with cancer. Loving son of Peter and Linda (née Beers) George. Beloved husband and best friend of Michelle (née Melanson) George and devoted and proud father of Samuel and Rebecca George. Dear brother of Ed George. Cherished by his grandmother Muriel Beers of Moncton NB. Chris was born and raised in Bathurst, NB. Graduated from Lakehead University as a Civil Engineer. Chris was a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario as well as the Consulting Engineers of Ontario. Proudly worked at RV Anderson as a Principal, Regional Manager. Chris will be remembered as a strong family man, a courage like no other and a spirit that will be forever in our hearts. He Loved spending time with his family at camp fishing, sitting by the fire, building the camp with his own designs and making lasting memories. Most of all he loved being a father and cherished every moment with Samuel and Rebecca. A special thank you to the at home nurse care, staff and volunteers at the Sudbury Cancer Centre as well as the Doctors and nurses at the Hospice. We will forever be grateful for the level of care Chris received. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
