Timberlea, NS – It is with great sadness that we the family of Christopher Dobbins, of Timberlea, NS, announce his passing, which occurred on Friday December 25, 2020 in Timberlea, NS at the age of 45.
Born in Thompson, MB, he was the son of John Dobbins (Mary Lanteigne) and Janice Boucher (Alan Furlotte).
Christopher was a graduate of Bathurst High School, attended St Mary’s University and worked for Service Canada in Timberlea, NS.
Besides his father of Miramichi and his mother of Bathurst, he leaves behind his wife, Kim Barnhill and his three precious children: Kate, Jessica and Nathan all of Timberlea, NS.
One sister, Laura Lee Dobbins of Bathurst.
Two stepbrothers: Richard Lanteigne (Kacy) of Ottawa, ON and Robert Lanteigne of Moncton.
His in-laws, Dr. Byron and Arnold Barnhill of Bathurst.
Sisters-in-law, Lisa Barnhill of Bathurst and Stephanie Barnhill (Andrew) of Sackville, NB.
Brother-in-law, Philip Barnhill (Alison) of Guelf, ON.
Several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
There will be no visitations at the Funeral. Funeral Service will be celebrated from Elhatton’s Funeral Home Chapel (www.elhatton.com), Bathurst by invitation only. Donations in memory of Christopher may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a favorite charity.
