Obituary of Christine Garvey
GARVEY, Christine (McNamara)
Born in Limerick, Ireland. Passed away peacefully on April 11, 2020 at home with her family by her side. Loving wife of Fred. Beloved mother of Erin (Curtis) McMillan. Cherished Nana of Zachary Garvey, Anthony and Tatem McMillan. Sister in law to Patsy (Doug) Pomery. Predeceased by her parents Roy and Delia Carscallen, in-laws Jim and Pearl Garvey, brothers in law Jack and Paul, sisters in law Marie Rivard and Barbara VanVolkenburg. Survived by many nieces and nephews and friends from Havelock.
As per her wishes there will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Mass and reception will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Campbellford at a later date. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery.
In memory of Christine, donations to the St. Mary’s Bell Tower would be appreciated by the family.
