Passed away suddenly but peacefully at home, Christine Joy Pilgrim, aged 66 years. Predeceased by her husband Harry Pilgrim, parents Jonathan and Claire Tucker, and brothers Rick and Eugene Tucker. Left with fond and loving memories her children Henry and Michelle, her long-time companion Doug Ridgeley, siblings Peter (Carol), Johnny (Roxanne), Amelia (Rick), Ethel (Ken); nieces and nephews Amanda (Shawn), Ken (Lindsey), Rick (Heather), Sherry (Craig), Jason (Andrea), Tiffany (Mark), Cassie (Jason), and Alex (Jane), good friends Wayne (Jen), Julie (Mack) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends too numerous to mention. Mom was known for her homemade bread, her plastic canvas’, her love of Elvis, her infectious smile and the friends she made wherever she went. Family will receive visitors at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road, on Tuesday, October 6 and Wednesday, October 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from St. Philip’s Anglican Parish on Thursday, October 8 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in Christine’s memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
