Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Chris Dimoff announces his passing on April 21, 2020, in his 88th year. Chris was born in Nevolany, Macedonia. Beloved husband of Frances (Kelessi) for 63 years. Cherished father of Tom & Kathy Dimoff, Lena & Alex Sipidias, Angie & Chris Nanos, and Christine Dimoff. Proud Grandfather of Michael, Christina(fiancée Matthew Canario), Christopher-Thomas, Stephen, Zoe and Diana. Predeceased by his parents Stoyche and Vangelia Dimoff, sister Mary Bekiaris.
Chris came to Canada as a young man in 1948, met and married his wife Frances and raised a wonderful family in Toronto. He was a successful businessman, a proud Canadian and had a lifelong commitment to his Macedonian heritage. He was an original founder and past President of St. Clement of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral. Chris loved to be around his friends and family and would often be found at the local coffee shop sharing his politics, laughs and smiles.
A private service will be held with immediate family. A larger memorial of family and friends will take place when such gatherings are permitted. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Clements of Ohrid Macedonian Orthodox Cathedral online at Stclementofohrid.com or call 416-421-7451. In light of the ongoing pandemic we encourage friends and family to express their sympathies and condolences online at www.heritagefuneralcentre.ca
