Plus, many family members and friends.
Predeceased by Grandmother Elsie Legge, Aunt Colleen Legge, Uncles Billy, Ross and Randy Hutchings.
In this obituary, parents mourn the loss of their daughter who passed away much too young at the age of 28, born June 8, 1991. They ask readers to not only remember Chelsea’s beautiful spirit, but to remember to live life to the fullest because it’s much too short.
Chelsea’s Mom Karen, well, when you seen one you seen the other. Karen’s dedication to her daughter was unrelenting and full of pure unconditional love! Karen would tell Chelsea to stop interrupting so much it would be bad for job interviews, lol. It was an enjoyment to be entertained by them with such merriment in their hearts. The love between a Mother and a daughter is a treasure to be blessed. It was treasured and blessed! Karen stood stead fast in her love and always will. “No lock can be broken when Love is the key.” “A daughter is someone you laugh with, dream with and love with all your heart. Karen now has the most precious Angel to dream with and love never dies!”
Chelsea was Dads Princess. David (Father), called her Princess from the time he held her in his arms. When Chelsea wanted to go shopping, she knew to take her Dad, not her Mom, because Dad would buy whatever her heart desired, which had no price tag! She referred to herself as Daddy’s girl. Despite the distance from NL to AB, her Dad was always close to heart. No matter the circumstance, Chelsea will always and forever be, Dads little girl! Love never dies!
The relationship Chelsea had with her Brother David, was one full of unity. She was a wonderful big sister that taught him a lot and she always had his back. When her brother was younger, his whole face would light up and their time together would be lost in fun. Chelsea was a play boy at heart. Whether it was riding the rails at Canada Olympic Park, wrestling or tearing up the paintball field. David was her partner in many of life’s thrills! Two peas in a pod! Chelsea included all of David friends on their adventures. This is siblings’ love and a bond, impossible to be broken! Love never dies!
The one true love of Chelsea’s life was her “Little man”, her son Adam. If you were lucky enough to be present when she gazed into her son’s face, the pure joy radiating from her would blind you. Chelsea wanted nothing more for Adam than to have a wonderful life. Chelsea loved going to watch Adam play T-ball, playing with him at the park, playing video games and especially loved his expressions of love to her through his art. From the day of Adams birth, to the day of her passing, there was no doubt of her unconditional love for Adam. What resonates the most with us who knew her, she loved her son Adam with her whole being. Love never dies!
Chelsea loved her family. She was aware of her struggles, as she fought her fight for the light at the end of the tunnel. Chelsea had a sassy boy side, but she was a Princess! Her softer side was caring and helping to others, especially those in need. Chelsea commanded attention, people gravitated towards her, her smile and charm won many hearts. Chelsea was a Social Butterfly that would light up a room and she soaked up the attention as if it was air! Loving life as a Princess!
When you think of Chelsea, celebrate the good memories you have of her. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
“I ached and yearned for that imaginary place, the one which I could breathe. Now I sit here with God, with Natures beauty and astounding light; and now I feel like finally I can breathe!”
