Charles “Chuckie” MacAloney
1972-2020
It is with deep sadness that we announce
the unexpected passing of Charles “Chuckie”
Desimond MacAloney, age 47, of Amherst, on Wednesday,
February 26, 2020.
Born in Springhill, NS, he was a son of
Marvin MacAloney of Kentville, NS and Betty (Sterling) Barker, as well
as his late step mother Heather Ann MacAloney.
Chuckie had a heart of gold and would do
anything for anyone, even if it meant going without
himself.
In addition to his parents he will be
dearly missed by his daughter Alisa Heather Ann Mills, Moncton, NB;
brothers Robert MacAloney, Dartmouth, NS and Alexander (Shannon)
MacAloney, Windsor, ON; several aunts, uncles, nieces, and
cousins.
He was predeceased by his step mother
Heather Ann, as well as his grandparents Mary and Dan
Baker.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of the Jones Family Funeral
Centre, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where
an Afternoon of Remembrance will be held from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday,
March 7, 2020. All are invited to come to share memories and
stories.
Those wishing to make a donation in
Chuckie’s memory may do so to the Mental Health Association, or the
charity of your choice.
