Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Charles “Chuck” William Cochrane on December 30, 2019 at his home. He was born on January 11, 1945 to the late Charles and Lillian (Gooden) Cochrane and was the loving husband of 25 years to wife, Juanita Cheney.
Along with his wife, Chuck is survived by his two sons, Charles (Elizabeth) and Paul (Tammy); grandchildren, Jessica & Chloe; siblings, John “Jack” (Judy), Gerald (Kathleen), Betty Fudge, Alice (Paul) LeBlanc, Brenda McOuan and Dawn (Rowland) Hinton; step-sons, Dewayne, Richard, Darren, Corey and Derek Cheney; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Florence Gallant and Dorothy “Dot” Kearney.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) where visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 2p.m at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (4347 Loch Lomond Road). Interment will take place in the spring in Pennfield. For those who wish, memorial donations made in Chuck’s memory to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Cancer Society or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by his family.
