Obituary
With heavy hearts the family of Charles “Chuck” Vail of Browns Flat, announce his passing which occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday, September 4, 2020. Chuck was born January 11th, 1955 to the late Alfred and Greta (Bostwick) Vail. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed the country life. Chuck will be missed and is survived by loving sisters Margaret Lindsay, Marilyn DeLong (Borden) and brother Edward Vail (Susan); several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Along with his parents he was predeceased by brothers Arnie, Wesley, Garfield and Beverly.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) In keeping with Chuck’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Interment and committal service will be held at Browns Flat Baptist Cemetery, Browns Flat on Friday September 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Due to public health regulations social distancing rules will be followed.
For those who wish remembrances of Chuck can be made to the Greenwich Volunteer Fire Department or charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Reiman, the Staff of the Oncology Dept. of the Saint John Regional Hospital and to the Greenwich Volunteer Fire Department for the compassionate care given to Chuck.
