Charles Blake Coombes April 7 1935 – February 5 2020

After bravely battling COPD for many years, Blake passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family.
Predeceased by his wife of 53 years, June, and brother, Alfred, he will be lovingly remembered by his sons Michael, Stephen (Shelley), and Kelly; grandchildren Blake, Jenica, Kiera, and Braeden who were the true lights of his life; brothers Tom and Les, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service to celebrate Blake’s life will be held at 1pm on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. John’s Anglican Church, 220 West 8th Street in North Vancouver with a reception immediately following. No flowers by request.
The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and gratitude to the many health care professionals who cared for Dad over the past few years.
