Charles Alfred Carson
1952-2020
Charles Alfred Carson Jr. 67, of
Weldon passed away on February 28th, 2020 at the Moncton Hospital with
his loving family by his side.
Charles was born on May 18th, 1952,
the son of the late Charles and Joyce (Laird) Carson.
Charles started working with NB Power
at the age of 16. He worked in customer service as a
linesman until his retirement after 37 years of service. He was well
known throughout Albert County. He was a former member of the
Hillsborough Volunteer Fire Department and was also member of the
Hillsborough Kiwanis. He was always willing to help out whenever he
was needed. Charles was a true Albert County man and was an avid
outdoorsman. He enjoyed exploring Albert County on his four wheeler,
tinkering around the yard, and never missed out on an opportunity to
go hunting or fishing. He looked forward to spending time with his
family and friends, playing the guitar at music nights, joking around,
and sharing many laughs. He would want us all to remember the good
times we had together. “What we keep in memory is ours
forever.”
He will be deeply missed by his son,
Nicholas Carson (Isabelle) of Riverview; his grandchildren Vincent and
Anabelle; his special companion of 13 years, Heather Fownes of Weldon;
sister, Evelyn Rayworth (Gerry) of Shenstone; brothers, Glen Carson of
Weldon and Brock Carson (Barb) of Weldon; and his special cousin John
Norman who was like a brother to him. He will also be missed by many
friends and by all his extended family.
Besides his parents he was predeceased
by his sister, Sharon.
A time of visitation and sharing of
memories to celebrate his life will be held at the Albert County
Funeral Home on Saturday, March 7th, 2020 from 2-4pm. Interment will
be held at Grey’s Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, NB at a later date.
There will be no funeral.
