Charalabos Koutsogiannopoulos
Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Charalabos (Bobby) Koutsogiannopoulos on December 7th, 2020 at the age of 56.
He was a pillar in our family who will be forever loved, adored and cherished by his spouse Maria Babos, his daughter Alexandra, his parents Anastasia and George, his sister Eleni, his niece Konstandina, his nephew Efthimis, his father and mother-in-law, his brothers and sisters-in-law and their children.
He was a big personality that became well known to everyone in Ville St Laurent, Florida and Greece. His laughter, his big smile that we grew to love so much will be greatly missed. His premature passing has left us all in shock but we know he is resting comfortably even though it has left a profound void in our lives. He fought such a difficult battle, kept smiling until the end, always full of hope and optimism. We are forever grateful for all the memories that we had with him and he will forever remain an infinite source of inspiration for his friends and for all those who have had the privilege of knowing him, travelling with him or joining him at his restaurant for hours of laughter and jokes.
He will be forever remembered for his big laughter, sense of humour, how affectionately he would take care of all his customers spanning over 3 decades (31 years) at Mamma’s Pizzeria in Ville St-Laurent. He has taught us all what it means to be a true fighter, why it is so important to enjoy every day, have a zest for life and his all time passion of traveling and exploring new places.
Funeral service will be held on Friday for the immediate family only.

Death notice for the town of: St-Laurent, Province: Quebec
I am truly saddened to hear of the premature passing of my old friend Bobby.
I had the pleasure of meeting Booby during our days at Malcolm Campbell High School and can vouch that his good natured personality was never lost. He was a great guy to be around and made everyone feel welcomed. I know he will leave a mark now that he is gone.
My sincerest condolences to Maria, Alexandra and his family for this huge loss. Rest In Peace Bobby.

We were so sorry to hear of Bob’s death. It is hard to believe. We will always remember the good times we enjoyed at Mamma because of Bob & you also Maria. Loved his friendliness, cheer & love of life. Thank God he lived it with enthusiasm as it ended up being a short one. Our hearts are with all his family at this time.
