Champagne – Cecile Irene (nee Gagnon) 1936-2020 of Espanola passed away at the Espanola Nursing Home on July 30, 2020 at the age of 84. Dear daughter of the late Albert & Marie (nee Paradis) Gagnon. Beloved wife of the late Laurent Champagne (2015). Loving mother of Debbie (husband Blaine Marcoux) of Espanola, Dan Champagne (wife Sue) of Rockwood, Diane (husband Todd Trottier) of Russell and Denise Champagne (husband Andrew Morum) of Orillia. Cherished grandmother of Kyla Marcoux (Jeff), Kensey Mailloux (Nick), Kurtis Marcoux (Maddy), Ryan Trottier, Bradley Trottier (Eng) and Andrew Champagne-Morum. Cherished great grandmother of Evie, John Henry and Cora. Dear sister of the late Lillian Lapointe, Ernest Gagnon, Wilfred Gagnon, Raymond Gagnon and Arthur Gagnon. Also, will be sadly missed by many friends & relatives. Cremation with a Memorial Service at the St. Jude R.C.C with interment to follow in the Espanola Cemetery will be at a later date.
