Cathy Quessy-Guthrie
1971-2020
It is with heavy hearts that we
announce the passing of Cathy Quessy-Guthrie at the age of 48. She
passed away peacefully at her home in Moncton, New Brunswick
surrounded by her loving family on Friday evening, May 22, 2020, after
her battle with cancer. She was born in Havre-Saint-Pierre, Quebec.
Cathy and her husband would have been married for 26 years this July.
She served her country in the Canadian armed forces and later worked
in the public service.
She is dearly loved by her husband,
Michael, her children, Patrick and Emilie, her step-children, Mathew
and Michelle, her parents, Julien-Marie and Monique, her siblings,
Sylvain and Caroline, numerous nephews and nieces, and other family
members.
Due to the current Covid-19
restrictions, a
celebration of Cathy’s life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cobb’s Funeral Home and
Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview
(869-2007). Donations
in her memory can be made to Dr. Georges-L. -Dumont Hospital
Foundation.

nous annonçons le décès de Cathy
Quessy-Guthrie à l’âge de 48 ans. Elle
est décédée paisiblement à
son domicile de Moncton au Nouveau-Brunswick entourée de sa
famille le vendredi soir 22 mai 2020 à la suite de son
combat contre le cancer. Elle est née à
Havre-Saint-Pierre, Québec. Cathy et son mari auraient
célébré leur
26e anniversaire
de mariage en juillet prochain. Elle a d’abord servi son
pays dans les Forces armées canadiennes, pour ensuite
travailler dans la fonction
publique.
Elle est
très aimée par son mari, Michael, ses enfants,
Patrick et Emilie, ses beaux-enfants, Mathew et Michelle, ses parents,
Julien-Marie et Monique, son frère et sa sœur,
Sylvain et Caroline, de nombreux neveux et nièces, et
d’autres membres de la
famille.
En raison des
restrictions de la Covid-19, une célébration de
la vie de Cathy aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
Les arrangements sont confiés
à Cobb’s
Funeral Home and Cremation Center 330 Whitepine Rd. Riverview
(869-2007). Un don
à l’Hôpital Dr-Georges-L.-Dumont
