Obituary of Catherine Darlene Toth
Catherine Darlene Toth “Darlene” died on June 6, 2020 at 82 years of age in the Sherbrooke Nursing home in Saskatoon. She is survived by her brother Kenneth McGill, children Ken Toth (Marilou), Cathy Craig (David), Bonnie Cheeseman (Don) and Trevor Toth. She is pre-deceased by her parents Judson and Maude McGill and her husband Alfred Toth. Darlene was born in Stranrae, SK and moved to Saskatoon for her schooling. She married Alfred in 1958 and after a brief time living in Eastern Canada, she and Alfred returned to Saskatoon where she resided until her death. Darlene performed volunteer work for the United Way and the Canadian Cancer Society. When physically able, she enjoyed curling, tennis and golf and was actively involved with an investment club. Darlene enjoyed Sunday evening meals with the family and vacations to the Okanagan Valley and Vancouver Island. Please direct any memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society. A private family service will be held at a later date.
