Mrs. Catherine ‘Joyce’ Fox passed away, with her loving family by her side, on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the age of 85 years. Joyce was born in Banff, Alberta and resided there until moving to Bowden, Alberta; where she met and married Harry, her husband of fifty-two years. They farmed together and made a happy home. Along came three children, who made their life complete. Joyce’s love for music led her to join an Old Time Music Band and played for Senior’s Dances and entertained at Lodges. Joyce will be lovingly remembered by her three children, her daughter, Tammy (John) Schrader of Bowden, Alberta, her son, David (Kelly) Fox of Lacombe, Alberta and her son, Colin (Karen) Fox of Calgary, Alberta and six grandchildren, Caleb, Sydney, Delilah, Liesil, Severin, and Serianna. She will also be sadly missed by her two brothers-in-law, Glen Fox (Joan) and Merle (Lori) Fox. Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Harry Fox, a sister, Marie Chamney and two brothers-in-law, Hank Chamney and Art Fox. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Innisfail Health Care Centre for the excellent care they provided to Mom. A small Celebration of Life will be held for family and close friends, at the Bowden Cemetery. If desired, Memorial Donations in Joyce’s honor may be made directly to the Canadian National Institute of the Blind, 11150 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta, T5K 0C7.
