Catherine passed away peacefully at home on June 24th, 2020 at the age of 81 from cancer. Catherine loved her family and friends and was the central figure in reuniting and celebrating her extended family. She was fierce in her loyalties and a good friend to her chosen few. Up until this last year, she never forgot an anniversary or birthday and telephoned all her people regularly. This 5’2” dynamo was a force to be reckoned with! She knew her mind and her opinions were shared liberally. Throughout her life, she liked a good party, listening to music and always carried herself with dignity. To say she was beautiful would be an understatement; she was striking and always took good care of herself.
Catherine est décédé à la maison, le 24 Juin 2020, à l’âge de 81 ans. Catherine adorait sa famille et ces amis. Rien ne lui rendait plus de plaisir, que de les réunir et célébrer avec eux! Elle n’oubliait jamais un anniversaire de mariage ou de naissance. Cette dynamo de 5’2’’, était une force de nature! Elle nous laissait savoir qu’est-ce qu’elle pensait et autant qu’elle nous aimait. Durand toutes ça vie, Maman aimait un bon party, la musique et elle ses toujours comporter avec dignité et beaucoup de style!! Dire qu’elle était belle, ne lui ferait pas justice. Elle avait un bon cœur; autrement dit, elle était belle de bord en bord. C’était un grand amour vécu entre Catherine et D’Arcy. Je suis sûre que notres Père était la pour l’a recevoir.

Gérard Caron (Rolande Claveau), Thérèse Caron (late Tony Tremblay), Claude Caron (Nicole Frenette), Denis Caron (Henriette Thibeault), Pauline Pedneault (Donald) and the Late Hébert Caron, Blanche Larouche, Géraldine Pilote (late Roland) and Réal Caron- survived by in-laws Ester Gaudreault, Jean Paul Larouche and Line St-Gelais.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral will take place at a later date (yet to be determined), in her home town of Arvida, Quebec.
