1929-2020
Carolyn Alberta Rattray of Tobique Narrow, NB, passed away peacefully
at Hotel Dieu St. Joseph Hospital on the evening of May 6, 2020.
Carolyn was born in Sisson Ridge, NB, on January 10, 1929. She was the
daughter of the late George and Carolyn Amelia (Rawlins) Everett.
Carolyn leaves behind her daughters, Cora Chase (Ervin) of Plaster
Rock, NB, Rose Rattray (Steve Muckler) of Tobique Narrows, NB; her
sons, David Rattray of Perth-Andover, NB, Joe Rattray (Debbie) of
Perth-Andover, NB, Lawrence Rattray (Anne) of North York, ON, Allyn
Rattray of Sutton, ON, Leonard Rattray (Kim) of Ajax, ON, and William
Rattray (Tina) of Aroostook, NB; 16 grandchildren and 18 great
grandchildren with one more to be born in August; her sister, Katie
Parish of Riley Brook, NB; her brothers, Thomas Everett (Dorothy) of
Riley Brook, NB, Ralph Everett (Maryann) of Riley Brook, NB, Lawrence
Everett (Brenda) of Moncton, NB; sisters-in-law, Elsie Everett of
Moncton, NB, and Dorothy Everett of Fredericton, NB.
She was predeceased her parents; her husband, Charles
“Earle” Rattray; her infant daughter, Linda; her infant
grandson, Kyle; her sisters, Julia and Constance Everett; brothers,
Merle, Harland, Leigh, and Walter Everett.
Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 Virus, a private
graveside service will be held. Burial will be in the South Tilley
Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Because of Carolyn’s love of flowers, the family asks for you to plant
a flower as a way to remember her. Memorial donations to the Mamma
Bear Cancer Fund would also be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
