Carolyn’s Obituary
VEINOT, Carolyn Frances ~ age 75, of Lower Sackville, formerly of Lawrencetown, Annapolis Co., passed away July 19, 2020 at the QEII Hospital – Halifax Infirmary Site, Halifax. Born in Lawrencetown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hilda (Bruhm) Veinot. Surviving are siblings, Mervin (Faye), West Peabody, US; Lillian (Bernie) Nickerson, Lindsay, ON; David (Veronica), Deerfield; Joan (Sheldon) Bisson, Lower Sackville; and Brenda (Glen) Crouse, Wilmot; sister-in-law Jennie, Lower Clarence and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Vernon and Garnet, and sister, Louise, in infancy. Carolyn retired in 1996 from the province (Office of the Legislative Counsel). Cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation or public service. A private memorial will take place Sunday July 26, 2020 in the Middleton Funeral Home, 398 Main St., toll free 1-855-825-3448. Due to public gathering restrictions, a live stream of the memorial service will be available to be viewed through the funeral home website ‘Live Stream’ option beginning at 3:55 pm ADT. Private immediate family interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Lawrencetown. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
