Carol May Vincent passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, January 31, 2020 in her 82nd year at the Kingston General Hospital. She leaves behind: her husband of 22 years, Leonard Vincent of Delta; much loved children, son Dan Davy (Huong) of Kingston and daughter Michele Dawson (Bernie) of Odessa, and her stepson Jon Vincent (Tammy) of Sweet’s Corners and stepdaughter Christina Vincent (Trevor) of Carleton Place.
Grandchildren, Tyler Davy (Barris) of Bronx, New York, Chalaine, Morgan, Mia and Bin Davy of Kingston, Sara Kench (Peter) of Gananoque, Kyle Smith of Kingston and Mary Jane Vincent. G.G. to River and Blayke Davy of Kingston and Chloe, Mae, Clara and Fern Kench of Gananoque. Sisters Dorla Bostad (Art) and Barbara Hamilton of Kingston; sisters-in-law, Alma Mayhew (Warren) of Jones Falls, Pat Wood (John) and Brenda Vincent of Delta. Loved and missed by nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by parents Arthur and Ethel Boomhour, brother Jack, sisters Betty Norton and June Gumbinger, brothers-in-law: Tony Gumbinger, Harold Perrin, Herb and Roy Vincent.
A celebration of life will take place at the James Reid Reception Centre in Kingston from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4th. Please enter through the rear parking lot. Interment will be in the Cataraqui Cemetery on Sydenham Rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kingston Humane Society or the UHKF (Cancer Centre S.E ONT.)
