Obituary of Carolina Huismans
Passed away peacefully on March 1st, 2020 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Martin Huismans. Loving mother of Siena French (David), Betsy Villeneuve (Jean), Willie, Peter (Kim) and the late Monica Baker (Darren). Cherished Oma of Andrew (Stacey), Sean (Julie), Robin (Sasha), Ann (Jason), Julie (Tyler), Daniel (Aleisha), Michel, Jonathon (Elyssa), Chelsea (Brian), Martin, Carlina, Alexandre, Adriana and 18 great-grandchildren. She is survived by one sister in the Netherlands, as well as many relatives and friends both in the Netherlands and here in Canada. The family will receive relatives and friends at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 17 First Avenue, Russell, Ontario, on Saturday, March 14th, 2020 from 10 a.m. until eulogy at 10:50 a.m., followed by 11 a.m. Memorial Mass. Interment will be held at a later date at the Parish Cemetery. The family would like to thank the staff of Russell Meadows Retirement Community, Carefor and St. Elizabeth Health Care for the compassionate care that they provided to our Mother. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Ovarian Cancer Canada or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Online condolences may be shared at : www.heritagefh.ca
