A Life Well Lived

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Varcoe. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband of almost 57 years, Dennis, her daughter Karyn Michele, her brother Lloyd (Roxanne), extended family members, and the many friends from her congregation.
Although we are deeply saddened, we will take comfort in the many loving memories for which we are grateful and the hope to see her again in God’s promised New World.
Carol and her family have very much appreciated the many thoughtful expressions of love and support by phone calls, emails, cards, flowers, and prepared meals during her time of illness.
The whole family would like to send many thanks for the compassionate care from Dr. Louise Van Zyl, Dr. Christine Blyth, the exceptional Interior Health Palliative Team and Nurse Next Door which allowed Carol and her family to experience peace and dignity at home during her last weeks.
Born in Chilliwack, BC, and raised in Williams Lake, BC, Carol will be forever remembered for her quiet faith, her beautiful smile, her optimism, her humor, and her contagious laugh.
We request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her memory to the North Okanagan Hospice Society.
A Zoom Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 8th at 1:00 PM PDT.
