Obituary of Carol Anne Margaret Quigg
QUIGG, Carol Anne Margaret- Of St. Thomas, ON, formerly of Wallaceburg, ON, passed away at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in her 69th year. Loved sister of Katherine Millard of Fredericton, NB, Frank Quigg (Roberta) of Maple Ridge, BC, and Marlene Bailey-Timmermans (Peter) of Port Stanley, ON. Dear niece of Leona Sansome (late Walter) of Victoria, BC, and Stan and Helen Allen of Cambridge, ON. Carol is also survived by her beloved nieces, Lori Smith of St. Stephen, NB, Shari Montgomery (Jeff) of Fredericton, NB, and Heather Quigg Macrlje (John) of Hamilton, ON and nephews, Simon Bailey (Kaity) and Phil Bailey (Emily), both of London, ON and many cousins. Especially missed by her beloved boys, Gizzie and Stinky. Carol was born in Guelph, ON, February 19, 1952, daughter of the late James J. and Eileen A. (née Allen) Quigg. Carol was a retired separate school board librarian. She was also an avid genealogist. Cremation has taken place and interment will be made in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London. Carol’s family will celebrate her life privately at a later date when it is safe to do so. Memorial donations to the Animal Rescue Foundation of Ontario (ARF Ontario) would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas (519-631-1160).
