Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother Carol Ann Vogstad at the Drumheller Health Centre January 26th, 2020 surrounded by loved ones. She was born in Drumheller, Alberta on July 24th, 1935 to Carl & Essie Nelson. She is survived by her husband Edward Vogstad, four daughters; Marilee Allerdings (Erwin), Rosemary Rosin (Larry), Jardi Clark (Neil), Virginia Redel (Alan), son; Carl Vogstad (Tresa), grandchildren; Colton Clark (Rosalie), Lacey Bellerive (Trevor), Layton Rosin (Melissa), Evan Allerdings, Dustin Clark (April), Cori Black (Kirby), Leah Allerdings(Chris), Dione Rosin, Randy Redel, Tanner Redel(Shannon), Bailey Vogstad(Brad), Braedyn Vogstad and great grandchildren; Kylie, Lena, Abby, Ciana, Chloe, Emma, Liam, Mairi, Sabella, Vanessa, Charlee, Mataeah, Arlen, Sykes, Thayne and Abigail. Carol was predeceased by her parents; Carl and Essie, Sister; Mona and Uncle Bill.
Carol was all that most of us aspire to be in life, kind, clever, compassionate with a great sense of humor. Carol’s calls to loved ones on birthdays and anniversarys will be especially missed, as she never forgot a date, a constant reminder of the love Carol had for her friends and family. The family thanks the staff in the Continuing Care Department for their wonderful care and support throughout Carol’s illness.
A funeral service for Carol Vogstad will be held at the Dalum Church 2pm January 31, 2020 followed by a luncheon at the Dalum Community Hall.
