Carl Timothy Fortner 1956 –

Carl Timothy Fortner
October 29th, 1956 – September 25, 2020.
Tim, or Carl as he liked to be known as in his older years, was born in London Ontario eventually making his way to the west coast and settling in Cache Creek. Carl was a loving father to Terri King (Nohl) and Jenifer Fortner (Jeffery) and was grand-dad to seven grandchildren.
Carl wasn’t afraid to express how he felt and always made sure to tell his daughters how much he loved them when he could. He had a laugh that was outrageous but contagious. He was funny, kind and so generous to those he cared for. He loved working on his trucks, playing guitar, writing music, building bird houses and loved reading from his bible. Carl always wanted to fly free, probably why he loved being out in the desert surrounded by freedom and beauty. We hope that he is now flying free to all the places he ever wanted to be.
Carl was the son of Carl Fortner (1958) and Margaret Mongeau (1961). He leaves behind his brother John (Christine) and sister Kathie (Mike) and his ex-wife Mariyln Fortner.
Carl is pre-deceased by his sister Judith Anne (1988) and his brother Colin Alexander (Mike) (2005).
