Carl’s Obituary
It is with great sadness and heart break that we announce the passing of our loved one at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 Carl Chesley Hillier age 57 years of Newtown.
Predeceased by his parents Carl and Louise Hillier; sister Vina (Hillier) Tulk; niece Jennifer Tulk; sister-in-law Minnie (Fifield) Hillier.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife Judy Hillier nee Vincent; daughters Lee-Ann (Jason Mercer) of Bauline and Kristie (Ryan Wicks) of Goulds; brother William Hillier (Judy) of Newtown; sisters Jeanette (Jesse Best) of Valleyfield, Kathleen (Donald Mouland) of Newtown, Doris (Phillip Mercer) of Newtown and Shirley (Lawrence Winter) of Pool’s Island; brothers-in-law Tom Vincent (Mildred) of Appleton and Jerry Vincent (Wanda) of Toronto; sisters-in-law Rev. Roberta Vincent Bungay (Rev. Lorne) of Templeman and Norma Vincent King; and a large number of nieces, nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews, and a very wide circle of friends and volunteer associates.
Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and family service will be by invitation only.
Visitation will be held at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Friday, November 20, 2020 from 1 – 5 p.m.
Family service will take place at St. Luke’s Anglican Church, Newtown on Monday, November 23, 2020 at 11 a.m.
As an expression of sympathy donation may be made to the family and a decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
