1947-2020
Carl “Bill”
Whittle, 72 years of age, of Springhill, passed away
peacefully on Saturday, January 25, 2019. Born in Springhill he was a
son of the late Carl & Liz Whittle.
Bill worked for the Dept. of
Highway’s for over 20 years. He loved music. In his younger
days he enjoyed being outdoors, riding 4 wheelers, motorcycles. Bill
was a gifted chess player. Bill was very well liked and was a loving
family man. He was a people person and very sociable.
Bill will be sadly missed by his wife,
Bonnie, son, Matthew of Westville, daughters, Jennifer Meagher
(Kallen) of Amherst, Tabatha Harrison-Michels (John) of Amherst;
granddaughters, Brooklyn Whittle; Nalia & Lyla Meagher, Callie
Michels; sister, Carolyn MacDonald of Springhill, several
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bill was
predeceased by his brother, Jimmy Whittle.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of A.H. Brown Funeral Home, 5
McFarlane St., Springhill, NS (902-597-2361). No visitation or service
by request.
Should friends desire, memorial
contributions may be made to the Cancer Society. or the charity of
choice. Sharing of memories and condolences may be sent to the family
