Obituary
It is with love and gratitude for many years of wonderful memories that the family of Camille Frigault, loving husband of 53 years to Donna (Wood), announce his passing which occurred, surrounded by his loving family, at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 25, 2020. Born on Miscou Island, NB; he was the son of the late Camille and Roseanne (Bizeau) Frigault.
Camille worked at Ocean Steel for over 30 years. He loved spending time with his family, laughing, reminiscing and sharing memories. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus council 6595 for many years. Together, Camille and Donna spent many years as foster parents providing a safe and loving home for countless children. He also enjoyed camping in Browns Flat and Oak Point and was part of a Saint John Bowling League at Fairview Lanes.
He is survived and will be missed by his daughter Patty Lindsay and her husband Jason of Saint John NB, Shawn Camille Frigault and his wife Grace of Brampton, Ont. , and Rene Joseph Frigault and his wife Amanda of Cole Harbour, NS; his beloved grandchildren Brittney, Alexander (Abbi), Zackary, and Evangeline; brothers Fred (Marion) of Saint John NB, Onille of Midland NB, and Felix of Moncton NB; sisters Josephine Dorcas (Ronald) of Grand Bay-Westfield NB, Clemintine Broderick of Sarnia, ON and Lottie Hooley of Grand Bay-Westfield NB; cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Camille was predeceased by his brothers Fernand, Oliver, Gerard, Francis and sister Noella.
The family would like to thank Alexandria, Josh and Leah at the SJRH-ICU for your care and compassion. A special thank you to Uncle Fred and Aunt Marion for your love and support.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, January 29th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Thursday, January 30th at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Camille may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
