Obituary
It is with profound sadness that the family of Calvin Winston Lights announce his passing at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 21, 2020. Born in Rose Blanche, NL he was a son of the late Charles and Lillian (Taylor) Lights. Calvin will be greatly missed by his wife Rosemary Lights; his daughter Amanda Richardson (Mark) of Quispamsis; his grandchildren: Lilly, Sam and Alex; his brothers: Ross Lights of Edmonton, AB, Stanley Lights (Betty) of St. Johns, NL, John Lights (Diane) of St. Johns, NL, Harry Lights of Ontario, Gary Lights (Leita) of Ontario, Henry Lights of Ontario, and Jimmy Taylor (Mary-Jane) of Newfoundland; his sisters: Clara Thomas (Danny) of Norton, Geraldine Voutier of Port aux Basques, NL, and Kathy English (late Andy) of Ontario; as well as by many extended family members and friends. Calvin was very loved by the Roy family and will be greatly missed. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers: Cecil Lights and infant Douglas Lights; and his sisters: Marie Hatcher (late Willy) and infant Daphne Lights. Arrangements have been entrusted to the compassionate care of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road, Saint John, NB E2J 2G3 (506-646-2424). There will be no visitation or funeral services at this time as per Calvin’s request.
