Obituary of Caleb Leveille
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son Caleb. Caleb Jean Guy Leveille passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020 after a courageous year long battle with pediatric cancer. He was born June 18, 2004 to parents Simon and Nicole Leveille in New Liskeard, ON. Caleb loved any activity outdoors including ski-dooing and fishing, and playing in the TMSHA hockey league. He had a passion for living life to the fullest. He was a dare devil and had a great sense of humor. His heart was of the purest and his soul the most gentle. His love and pride for his immediate and extended family was something all of us felt in our hearts infinitely.
Caleb’s friendships meant the world to him. Despite the ongoing challenges that Caleb faced, he was blessed to receive so much support from his friends and make many memories throughout his journey. Caleb faced his pediatric cancer with such strength and resilience, inspiring all who knew his story. #greyforcaleb
Caleb was predeceased by great-grandparents Vincent Digout and Roy and Ivy Dix. Caleb is survived by his parents, Nicole and Simon Leveille, and brothers Jessie and Braeden. He also leaves behind the family on his maternal side; great- grandmother Rosemarie Digout (Vincent deceased), grandparents Joanne and Grant Dix, aunt Daron (Steven) Van Lingen, uncle Billy (Sydney) Dix, cousins Theodore, Tucker (Daron) and Sophie (Billy). On his paternal side, grandparents Jean-Guy and Irene Leveille, uncle Marc (Nicole) Leveille, aunt Doris (Jed) Smith, aunt Renee (Serge) Julien, cousins Alain (Pamela) Leveille, Joel and Maxim (Airianna) Leveille, Keith, Darren, Trevor and Calvin Smith, Isabelle (Jocelyn), Gabrielle Plante and Pascal Julien.
Due to the current concerns surrounding COVID-19, the family will be live-streaming a prayer service on the family Facebook account. The service will be celebrated by Frère Ghislain on Thursday April 2, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. A celebration of life, as per Caleb’s wishes, will occur at a later date when it is safe to do so.
