Burgess – Fallie Christine, 84, of Southwest Port Mouton, Queens County, passed away peacefully in Queens Manor, Liverpool on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020.
Born in Southwest Port Mouton, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Pearle (MacLeod) Fisher.
Fallie was a hard worker and was owner operator of Burgess Grocery and Port Mouton Quick Way for over 35 years, along with her sister Mae. She enjoyed Sunday drives and going out for dinner. Above all else, Fallie was most passionate about her family and spending time with them, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Fallie is survived by a daughter, June ( Ronald) Smith of Western Head; sons, Reginald (Glenda) of Kelowna, B.C.; Glenn (Amy) of Hunts Point. Grandchildren, Leanne, Bradley, Amber, Jeremy, Adam, Jerry, Andrew, Deidra and Meghan; Great grandchildren, Caillum, Ainsley, Carys, Arwyn and Jordan; sister, Mae, of South West Port Mouton; brothers Benny (Miriam), Clyde (Patty) both of Southwest Port Mouton.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Gerald; daughter, Gail Fisher; infant son, Donald; sisters, Carole Whynot and Jane Roy; brother, Alvin.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Chandlers’ Funeral Home, Liverpool, N.S. At Fallie’s request there will be no funeral service. No flowers. Donations to any charity. To share memories or condolences, please visit www.chandlersfuneral.com
