Obituary
Passed peacefully away, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday, September 7, 2020 at the age of 74 years after a courageous battle with cancer .
Predeceased by his loving parents: Walter and Myrtle Smith; precious siblings: Don, Jerry, Lou and Joan (Roy) Musseau.
Leaving to mourn with cherished memories his loving wife of 53 years Pam; children: Paula (Carl) Turner, Steve (Clarissa) and Tim (Renee); grandsons: Zack and Ben Turner, Jackson and Isaac; siblings: Peg Barry (Bill), Ken (Glenna), Dave (Jean), Bev, Helen, June, Bruce’s many colleagues and clients through Smith and Associates, extended family and a large circle of friends.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the paramedics from the Home and Community Care Program and the staff of the Miller Centre P.C.U. for their compassion and care.
At Bruce’s wish cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Barrett’s Funeral Home 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 2:00 -4:00 and 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Covid-19 restrictions are in place. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from Barrett’s Mt. Pearl Chapel. Internment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Paramedicine and Medical Transport, Health Care Foundation.
