Clarke – Bruce
Peacefully in hospital on Saturday, June 13, 2020 in his 73rd year. Loving son of the late Lloyd and Elsie (Wilson) Clarke. Dear brother of June Diehl (late Robert). Predeceased by brothers Maynard, Clayton, twin brother Brian; and nephews Jeffrey and Matthew. Brother-in-law of Judy Clarke. He will be also sadly missed by nephews and nieces, Jim (Sylvia), Laurie, Sherry (Michael), Darryl (Kat), Richard (Anna Marie), Karyn Clost (Mark), Robert (Jeanne), Kevin (Mary) and many great nephews and nieces. Bruce and his twin brother Brian were inseparable. Bruce’s great love was racing cars or anything with wheels. He started Clarke Bros. racing with modified Chevy S10 “Simply Red”, their pride and joy. Bruce graduated from Carleton University as an engineer and worked at Honeywell Aerospace Division in Rockland, ON as Quality Control Foreman until he retired. A graveside service will be held at Holy Trinity Cemetery later. Donations to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation or Holy Trinity Anglican Cemetery would be appreciated.
