It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, brother, uncle and friend Bruce at the age of 71. He was predeceased by his parents Mickey and Barney, his brother Brian and his twin infant children. He is survived by his son Bram, his brother Terry and his nephews Darren and Keith.
Bruce lived life on his own terms. He brought his vivid, whimsical and wonderful thoughts to life through his folk art, short stories and calligraphy.
During his time with the Society for Creative Anachronism, where he was known as Cathal Sean O’ Connlauin, he was a founding member of the Barony of Seagirt, received many awards including Laurel, and taught many in the ways of calligraphy and Celtic knotwork.
He will be missed by many.
Due to the current pandemic a celebration of life will be held when it is safe to gather again.
Condolences may be offered to the family below.
