It is with great sadness, that the family of Mr. Brian William Ladell announce he passed away peacefully, into the arms of Jesus, on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the age of 71 years. Brian struggled with FTD for many years. He was a loving husband, father, son, friend and mentor. Brian was born on September 15, 1948 in Edmonton, Alberta, and lived his younger years in Saskatchewan, before returning to Alberta in 1968. Brian and Iris married in 1969, moved to Red Deer and has resided here ever since. Brian was a Chartered Accountant in Red Deer for over thirty years, retiring as a Senior Partner with Collins Barrow, in 2002. He worked in various positions with Habitat for Humanity and did consulting with the Alberta Government, with his good friend, Harold Johnsrude. Brian will be lovingly remembered by his soulmate of over fifty years, Iris; his daughters, Cari (Mike) Kohlman and Kristen Ladell-England and will be forever cherished by his grandchildren, Bailey Ladell-England (Aaron), Chase England, Brittany Kohlman and Ryan Kohlman. He will also be sadly missed by his sisters, Lynne Totten and Constance (David) Ladell; his father-in-law, Nick Fedun and a very large extended family, as well as his little pup, Allie. Brian was predeceased by a son, Scott; his parents, Syd and Joyce Ladell; his mother-in-law, Adeline Fedun; his brothers-in-law, Jim Chrystian and Jim Totten and a sister-in-law, Linda Fedun. With grateful hearts, we would like to thank the staff at Timberstone Mews and Michener Extendicare for taking such great care of Dad.
