Obituary for Mr. Brian Ross Jones
JONES, Brian Ross of Wasaga Beach, died unexpectedly after a short illness on Thursday October 29, 2020 on his 77th birthday. Brian was born on October 29,1943, to Thomas Jones and Thelma Alpin. He will be remembered by his loving wife Brenda (nee Clark), loving friend and partner of 40 years. He will be missed by his sons Daniel Scott Jones, Christopher Alan Jones (Irena), Glenn George Jackson and Matthew Mark Jackson. Special grandfather to Allison Jackson, Daniel Jackson and Cooper Jones. Also survived by his nephew Steven Jones, and nieces Shelley Rudd and Luanne Jones. Pre-deceased by parents Thomas and Thelma Jones and brother Barry Alan Jones. Brian served as an Able Seaman on the HMS Restigouche, was a service and sales technician for Nashua Canada, a repair technician for CGE in Barrie, and a polisher for Xyst Tool & Mould in Penetanguishene. As per Brian’s request, there will be no service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Affordable Cremation Services, Collingwood. Remembrances of Brian may be made to a charity close to his heart, SPCA or Collingwood General & Marine Hospital.
