Obituary
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Brian Leonard Feldberg, on January 23, 2020, at the age of 66 years, after a long battle with kidney cancer.
Brian was born November 9, 1953 in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Brian was the fourth of six children to Leonard and Edna Feldberg of Wetaskiwin. Brian spent his life farming, beekeeping and driving semi tractor trailers all over Canada and Alaska. Brian enjoyed cold beers and relaxing around the fire pit with family and friends. He lived the majority of his life here in Wetaskiwin, Alberta, however he also spent ten years living in New South Whales, Australia.
Brian is survived by his girlfriend, Rita; sisters, Francis Brietzke (George), Lenora Feldberg, Linda Turtiak (Bill); brother, Darrell Feldberg (Ronalee); children, Tanya (Darren) Bristow, Angela Feldberg, Jessica Brittain (Cody), Travis Feldberg; grandchildren, Brayden Bristow, Lauren Bristow, and Gavin Henke.
Brian is predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Edna Feldberg; sister, Eunice Feldberg; and brother-in-law, Raymond Bailey.
A Memorial Service will be held in Brian’s honour at 1:00 pm Friday, January 31, 2020 at Baker Funeral Chapel , 5302-50 Ave. Wetaskiwin, Alberta. A luncheon will follow at the Falun Community Hall. Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at a later date.
