Marilyn Alicia Bressette of Kettle and Stony Point passed away Monday, January 13, 2020, in her 70th year at LHSC University Hospital.
Marilyn loved and was loved by her children, Stacy and Richard (2015), her Grandchildren, Larissa (William), Tyler, Great Grandchildren, Simon, Billy, Timmy, Ben, and the many children she embraced as her own including Melisa Bowles & family, Ian Tomlinson & girls, Crystal George & family, Bev Joseph & family, the Wheeler girls and many more.
The eldest daughter, Marilyn grew up in a large family with siblings, Eric (Beverly), Ted (Ruth), Diane (Wayne), Suzanne (Brian). Marilyn will be missed by her many extended family, friends, nieces, and nephews and is predeceased by her brother Allan.
A woman with a huge heart and a soft spot for anyone in need of some extra motherly love. A home that welcomed, and strongly encouraged visitors at all hours, everyone was welcomed.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 15th at Gilpin Funeral Chapel, 123 King Street East in Forest, from 7pm-9pm with a service taking place at 7pm conducted by Carmen Rogers Sr.
Final respects will take place on Thursday, January 16th at the Kettle and Stony Point Community Centre, 6265 Indian Lane, Kettle and Stony Point, from 12pm-1pm followed by a funeral service at 1pm with Pastor Murray Shawnoo officiating.
