Obituary of Brenda Anne Proctor
PROCTOR, Brenda Anne
Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia, April 12, 2020, at the age of 77 years after a short battle with Colon Cancer. Brenda was born in Moncton, New Brunswick, on October 9, 1942. She attended the University of New Brunswick and became a teacher. In 1966, she was hired at Forest High School as a Family Studies teacher and moved to Ontario. Brenda spent many years as a supply teacher after Jody was born and also waiting tables at MacPherson’s Restaurant and Scotty’s Fish and Chips. She loved working with the public and enjoyed serving in the deli department at Forest Foodland. Brenda was also an active member of Pinery Baptist Church. Upon her husband’s retirement, Brenda enjoyed spending the winters in Citrus Park in Bonita Springs, Florida, where she made many new friends. She will be sorely missed by many.
Beloved wife for 51 years to Carson Proctor. Loving mother to Jody Ferguson (Matthew). Nana to Bethany and Colby Ferguson. Predeceased by her parents William and Margaret Campbell. Survived by her brother David Campbell (Liz).
