Power, Brenda Elizabeth
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Brenda Elizabeth Power on Friday January 31, 2020, In the New Waterford Consolidated Hospital.
Born in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late Alex and Edna (Vickery) Campbell.
Besides Brenda’s immense love for her family, she also loved nothing more than a hot cup of tea and a sweet with her closest friends Doris MacDonald and Josephine MacKeigan. Brenda also enjoyed Sunday drives with her late husband, Pat, whom she loved dearly. Brenda was a former member of the Royal Canadian legion branch 128, Whitney pier.
Brenda is survived by her daughter Donna, Sydney, son Edward (Danielle Sampson), Stellarton, sister Ann Marie, Sydney, brothers Michael, Woodstock, ON, Blaise, Gary, and Grayden all of London , ON, granddaughter Danielle (Tyler), and great grandchildren Leighton and Carter.
She was predeceased by her husband Patrick, a sister Mary, brothers Ronnie, Billy and Terry.
Visitation will be held Monday February 3, 2020 from 4 – 8 pm in Sydney Memorial Chapel. Funeral mass will take place Tuesday at 11 am, in St. Marguerite Bourgeoys Church,with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery .
