Breadner Nancy Anne 2020

Breadner, Nancy Anne
Nancy Anne Breadner of Rocklyn passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on July 1, 2020 at the age of 80.
Nancy was born in Southampton to Alex and Isabel Wilson. As a child Nancy moved with her family to various towns in Ontario until she met and married Mac Breadner, settling in Rocklyn where she raised her family and lived for over 60 years. Nancy had a thriving hair salon but still managed to be a pillar of the community where she was involved in many organizations including the Women’s Institute, Temple Hill United Church, the Friends of the Rocklyn Arena, and the Horticultural society. Her specialty was catering to support fund raising and her pies were known for miles around. She also loved gardening and created an oasis in her back yard which she loved to share with others. Friends and family will remember Nancy for her strength, compassion and witty humour.
Nancy will be deeply missed by her children Debbie Nihls (Scott Lockman) of Wolfe Island, Wayne Breadner (Valerie) of Temple Hill and Judy Colley (Mark) of Keswick. She will also be remembered and cherished by her grandchildren Travis Nihls, Taylor Nihls (Michelle Bialy), Claire Clarke (Rob), Hiliary Breadner (Travis Murack), James Breadner (Amber Wilson), Jacob Colley and great-grand children Mac and Mason. Nancy was predeceased by her husband MacKay. Nancy is also survived by her brother Dave Wilson (Mary), sister Joyce MacMillan, and sister-in-laws Catherine Wilson, Bernice Logan and Donna Jonsson. She was predeceased by her sister Jessie Gristey (Frederick) and brother Harry Wilson. Sister-in-law of Don MacMillan, Robert Logan, Doug and May Breadner, Robert Jonnson, Viola and Glenn Ormsby. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Nancy’s life by participating in a memorial vehicle procession on Sunday July 5th from 4:00-6:00 p.m. behind the Rocklyn arena and proceeding past the back of Nancy’s home where family will be there to greet and acknowledge your sympathy from a distance. A private service for family will be held at a later date. If so desired and as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Temple Hill Cemetery fund (Cheques Only Please) or Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made through the Ferguson Funeral Home, 48 Boucher St. E., Meaford, ON N4L 1B9 www.fergusonfuneralhomes.ca
